Funding Opportunities
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Opportunity 1:
Every year, each student chapter has the opportunity to make a funding request to aid in the cost for travel, registration fees, etc. The requested amount is limited to $500 per year. The Student Chapter Funding Request Form must be completed as directed. Upon acceptance, the student chapter must supply a write-up of the event attended along with a photo or two which will all be included in the subsequent newsletter. After receiving the write-up and photos, the Section Treasurer will coordinate with the Student Chapter Advisor on reimbursement.
Opportunity 2:
To encourage participation in the yearly Great Lakes District Traffic Bowl, each student chapter has the opportunity for a $500 stipend to aid in travel, lodging, and registration to attend the yearly Great Lakes District Meeting. Proof of registration is required to receive stipend. Visit the ITE Great Lakes – Students webpage in the Competition and Events section to download and complete the Great Lakes ITS Traffic Bowl Entry Form. After the Wisconsin Section receives proof of registration, the Section Treasurer will coordinate with the Student Chapter Advisor on disbursement.
ITE Great Lakes | Students – Welcome
If a student chapter wins the Great Lakes Traffic Bowl, and if the team decides to participate in the ITE Grand Championship Traffic Bowl at the Annual Meeting, a $1,000 stipend will be given to aid in travel, lodging, and registration. After the Wisconsin Section receives proof of registration, the Section Treasurer will coordinate with the Student Chapter Advisor on disbursement.
